Pile Caps

Pile Caps are a great accessory and investment for your pier. Made of U-V resistant polyethylene, they offer protection for your pilings from internal rot and pile caps can last up to 10 years (fifteen years for black caps). To find the right size caps needed, simply measure the diameter of your piling across the top at the widest point. If you are not sure or if you have a measurement that is between two numbers, we suggest choosing the next size up. Install pile caps with galvanized nails, stainless steel screws, or let us do it for you!

Sizes available are 5 1/2" to 18" in diameter (1/2" sizes also available).
Colors available are black or white.

Available designs are Round Cone, Square Cone, Round Flat and Square Flat.

Cone Caps are a great deterrent to keep annoying seagulls off your pilings!

There are no guarantees on the actual life on any pile caps!

Cleats

Cleats are mounted to your pier for tying your vessels, crab pots, and tons of other docking needs. We offer a variety of styles and designs to choose from.

Hot Dipped Galvanized Cleats

Sizes available for galvanized cleats are 8” with 5/16” bolt hole, 10” with 3/8” bolt hole & 12” with 3/8” bolt hole for hex bolts.

Aluminum Cleats are also available in this style in sizes of 10” or 12” only.

Prices differ between Aluminum and Galvanized cleats!

S style Aluminum cleat

S-Cleats are fabricated from aluminum for corrosion resistance and magnesium for strength.

This cleat is "S" shaped which makes it easier to loop the lines around the horns. The 1/2" mounting holes on these cleats are recessed so that the bolts stay clear of any attached lines.

Flip-Up cleat-Aluminum

Flip-Up cleats are fabricated from aluminum for corrosion resistance.
Flip up the cleat to use and fold down the cleat into base when not in use.

Sizes available are 6” with 3/8” bolt hole and an 8” cleat with ½” bolt hole for hex bolts.

Flip up cleats have recessed mounting holes so lines stay clear of bolts.

Heavy Duty Galvanized Angles (shown below) are used to mount cleats to outside stringer of dock rather than just to the decking board. Fits all three sizes of the Galvanized Cleats but is recommended for 10” and 12” sizes.
